While at College of Central Florida I was an instructor for Introduction to Earth Science (ESC1000) and Physical Geology (GLY2010) lectures and labs.
ESC1000 utilized Earth by Thompson and Turk as the required textbook for students. I crafted my syllabus and lectures using the framework provided by the textbook.

Density Lecture – I added this lecture during spring semester to make sure all my students were familiar with the depth of information needed about density for the class.
Chapter 8 Volcanoes and Plutons
Oso, Washington – A short lecture added to cover the Oso mudslide; what occurred, why it happened, why the placement of the neighborhood was so egregious, and the importance of research and utilizing Google Earth and satellite photos when purchasing homes and property.
